I have lived in New Mexico all my life and in Santa Fe since a young child. I attended Santa Fe schools and graduated from the College of Santa Fe with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Rudy, for a “jillion” years and we have two grown children – Cyndi and Steve, who are both in the legal profession. Real estate has always intrigued me and, after teaching elementary school for a couple of years, I decided to pursue it as a career. I have been licensed since 1986. Since that time, we have also been involved in the completion of our new adobe home including cutting lathe, bull-nosing corners, laying flagstone floors and plastering. Building our dream home has not left much time for my favorite pastimes, which include playing tennis and golf. My home building experience, as well as my experience in teaching, has taught me patience and attention to detail – two very important qualities in a Realtor. I have received feedback from buyers and sellers telling me they appreciate the open lines of communication during the listing period, negotiation of offers and the successful closing of their homes.
